FROM THE EASTDriving to the coast from the east takes you through some of the county’s lovely inland valleys and past clear, blue lakes. From Sacramento, take the Highway 20 exit off of I-5 toward Clearlake/Colusa. When you reach Highway 101 head north - 20 merges with 101 until you reach Willits. Highway 20 separates from 101 in the center of town - turn west (left) at the traffic light. You’ll drive “over the hill” as the locals say, where you arrive in Fort Bragg at Highway 1.
