Noyo Jetty Dog Park - This is a public dog friendly beach (no leash required) at the end of North Harbor Drive in Fort Bragg.

Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. The gardens are located eight miles north on Highway 1. There is a $10.00 per person admission charge. No charge for pets.

LOCAL STATE PARKS

California State Parks require all dogs to be on a leash. These state parks offer great beach walks; however, for safety and sanitation reasons, dogs are not allowed on the state park forested hiking trails:

Van Damme State Park and Beach

Big River Beach and Paved Path
2 miles north of Little River on Highway 1

Russian Gulch State Park and Beach
2 miles north of Mendocino on Highway 1
